MUNDAKA, Spain (Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007) – Round 2 of the Billabong Pro Mundaka will not run today. Small conditions in the one foot range have prompted event organizers to call the event off for the day.
When competition does resume, World No. 3 Taj Burrow will go head to head with Tahitian wildcard Manoa Drollet in Heat 1 while3X World Champion Andy Irons (HAW) takes on local wildcard Hodei Callazo (EUK) in Heat 2.
Burrow and Irons were forced to surf Round 2 in France last week too, but both advanced. Another call on competition status will be made at 8am local time.
