JEFFREYS BAY, South Africa (Sunday, July 15, 2007) – Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay officials are eager to wrap up Round 3 this afternoon and the 35-minute heats will be underway shortly.
Heats 10 through 16 will run in clean three foot (one metre) waves at Supertubes today. Eight-time world champion Kelly Slater (USA) will surf against Foster's ASP World Tour rookie Luke Munro in Heat 13.
Munro, who is surfing Round 3 for the first time, has a fierce opponent in Slater. It will be their first man-on-man heat together.
"It's weird because we went out to dinner last night and were talking and everything but I woke up this morning and there's a different feeling in the air," Munro said. "There won't be any talking in the water today."
