The first heat of the day will commence at 7:30am and will feature title contender Taj Burrow (AUS) taking on Luke Stedman (AUS) and Marco Polo (BRA). Burrow's title competition, Mick Fanning (AUS) and Kelly Slater (USA), won their Round 1 heats yesterday and have advanced directly to Round 3.
Event officials will endeavor to run as many heats as possible today as there are only three days left in the waiting period after today and three and a half days worth of surfing to complete.
